The ISO-200 is a set of speaker stands measuring 200mm x 225mm and is designed for heavier monitors of up to 27kg. This upgraded version of the ISO-L8R Series comes with a more discreet design, a new frame and improved isolation for better overall performance. The ISO-200 stands comes with 14 possible height and angle settings for optimum ear-level positioning of the tweeters of your studio monitors. The patented isolation ensures no contact between the monitor and desktop and inhibits any vibration transference. The result is not just improved positioning of your speakers but improved focus and clarity.

Ik had mijn KRK Rokit 6 monitors (besteld bij Bax) eerst op mijn buroblad staan. Woooeeee bas. Niet goed. Toen heb ik van die schuimrubber onderzetters besteld, bij Bax idd. Wooeee. Toen heb ik er per kant 2 bakstenen onder gezet. Monitors iets hoger en wat minder wooee. Maar nog steeds. Deze monitorstands besteld, bij Bax natuurlijk. Wanneer word ik als trouwe klant eens beloond? Bijna 200 euro. Oei. Je krijgt een soort Ikea pakket binnen. Paniek haha! Valt mee, gewoon 4 korte of lange buizen in de hoekgaten van het onderste deel plaatsen. Het bovenste deel erbovenop. En dat twee keer. De KRK's op deze stands gezet. Ze staan nu 4 cm hoger dan eerst. Maar dat verklaart het verschil niet. WEG WOOOEEE! Je hoort nu de bas droog en in het midden bovenop de basdrum. Je krijgt heel veel ruimte in het stereobeeld waarin je elk detail kan horen. De KRK's blijken nu low budget high end te zijn. Warm aanbevolen, sterker dit is een MUST als je monitoren op een buro of meubel staan. Ja veel geld maar doe het maar. Als je tenminste een mix wil maken die klopt.

Ik was in eerste instantie sceptisch over de werking van dit product, maar het doet wat het belooft het voorkomt trillingen op je desk. Geloof niet in de fabeltjes dat je laag ineens super strak is en je ineens een veel betere stereo image hebt, dat is allemaal te wijten aan de manier waarop je je speakers plaatst, juiste plaatsing optimaal geluid en een slechte plaatsing slecht geluid.
