General

The DV-D01U is a 19-inch DVD player with a height of 1 U and an extra-rugged CD/DVD drive. With this DVD player, TASCAM has introduced a highly professional device that can play nearly any type of CD or DVD.

The DV-D01U supports DVD video, DVD audio, video CD, CD-DA, MP3, WMA, WAV, JPEG, ASF, MPEG-2/MPEG-1, DivX and good-quality DVD +R/+RW discs. The output is compatible with HDMI audio/video output and composite, S-video and component video outputs. The stereo outputs at the rear of the player are unbalanced (RCA) and the digital outputs are optical.

Various playing modes, including slow motion, frame by frame playback, power on play, selectable scan mode, tray-lock, FVPP and progressive scan, make the DV-D01U suitable for many DVD applications. Additionally, the Tascam DVD player offers bi-directional RS-232 serial control.
