The Icon IC 118 BA subs use a bandpass design to create the highest possible sound pressure levels while still producing deep bass tones that go far below 40 Hz. Even when you ask the most from the subwoofer, its impulse response accuracy is still astonishing. When you use it as part of your setup, the IC 118 BA can be fully driven by the IC 112 LA mid/treble cabinet. The subwoofer cabinet is equipped with the electronics of one of the latest 2,000W, 4-ohm class-D amplifiers and an 18-inch 4-ohm neodymium woofer with lots of headroom. Thanks to a maximum SPL of 136 dB (139 dB peak) the subs offer a powerful, dynamic bass with a frequency range of 33 Hz to cutoff, even at high volumes.

Thanks to the included dolly and six multifunctional handles, this 54 kg sub is easy to transport. An RJ45 connector with internal system protecting sends performance data to the top cabinet that can then be adjusted with the PodWare software on a Windows PC.

The IC 112 LA is an active, processor-driven two-way mid/high cabinet that is fully horn loaded. Thanks to its 24-bit/96kHz DSP and two amplifiers, this top cabinet is the brains of the system. Its 12-inch/8-ohms neodymium speaker is powered by a 1,000W class-D amplifier at four ohms, and the 1.4-inch/8-ohm HF driver is powered by a 600-watt class-D amplifier, also at 4 ohms. The DSP unit controls the entire system, including the Gain, EQ and both limiters (RMS / Peak). Thanks to the 60x40-degree horns of the tweeter and 12-inch speaker, the IC 112 LA has an accurate spread for its entire frequency range (400 Hz to 17 kHz).

The audio reproduction of mids and trebles assures a defined sound, all the way up to 131 dB in half-space. The optional tilt unit allows you to place the top speaker at 5 different angles, up to 15 degrees. The result is a mid/treble speaker that can be accurately directed at the audience, even from a ground-stack setup. The top cabinet features two multifunctional handles and a detachable dolly. Moreover, you can also fly this speaker thanks to the built-in Aeroquip tracks.
