General
The RME ADI-6432 can be used as a front-end for the Hammerfall DSP MADI PCI audio interface and sets you up with 64 channels for MADI to AES/AES to MADI conversion. You can also stack two of these converters for a standard digital multi-core configuration. The ADI-6432 has 2U rack height and comes fitted with all the connection ports you'd expect, including MADI I/O, MIDI I/O, Wordclock, and 32 AES/EBU inputs and outputs that can be controlled via a D-Sub connection. In terms of maximum audio quality, you get 24-bit/48kHz audio using 64 channels, 24-bit/96kHz audio using 32 channels, or 24-bit/192kHz audio using 16 channels. All 32 AES/EBU channels support optical and coaxial cables longer than 100 metres.
