The RME HDSPe MADI FX PCIe interface has a forceful dose of digital muscle. This potent interface uses the MADI protocol - or Multichannel Audio Digital Interface protocol. With an overwhelming 390 audio channels, an incredibly fast Hammerfall Pro Audio Core and an included version of TotalMix FX, this interface has an immediate and dramatic effect on any audio projects. A good collection of inputs and outputs are fitted to the compact design of this card which will not only easily find a place in your computer, but deserves it.
HDSPe MADI FX: Hammerfall Pro Audio Core
RME have loaded the nothing-short-of-spectacular HDSPe MADI FX with 390 audio channels. And, just to assure you of agile and streamlined work, they've also added their newly introduced core. The heart of this interface is the Hammerfall Pro Audio Core and it outstrips any previous MADI based models by having three times more channels and a latency of a mere 32 samples.
TotalMix FX and RME Effects Engine
RME knows like no other that power is nothing without control. As such, they've thrown in a compatible copy of TotalMix FX complete with improved DSP technique. This fresh version gives an immediate and efficient overview of the enormous number of channels while the RME 192 kHz effects engine carries out the essential job of removing any chance of latency during monitoring, even when using effects like compression, reverbs and echos. Rendering is done directly by the hardware of the card and independently of your DAW software.
