General
The innovative AMP1 is a guitar amp head in stompbox format that you can use on top of your speaker cabinet as well as on the ground. It offers a wide palette of professional sounds that range from jazz to metal. Thanks to the Nanotube 100-watt power amp, you get plenty of sounds to work with that offer top-notch tube quality and sound pressure. Nanotubes also last a lot longer than conventional tubes, which means maintaining the AMP1 is a breeze. Its compact size makes it easy to fit in your gig bag or mount on your pedal board. The functionality of this AMP1 can be expanded upon by the corresponding REMOTE1 by BluGuitar (sold separately).
Switchable, controllable channels, boost and reverb
As well as four controllable channels (clean, vintage, classic and modern), this amp also features a switchable, adjustable boost and reverb. All of these elements can be controlled using three integrated foot switches. You can easily change the basic settings using the rotary knobs on the top of the pedal. It's also equipped with six knobs for fine-tuning so you can achieve your own optimal sound. If you prefer to use the AMP1 on top of your speaker cabinet, you can connect the foot switch to it.
Effects loop and noise gate
The AMP1 was designed to sound and react just like an authentic tube amp, and it works perfectly with your effects pedals too. You can connect your pedals in the traditional way, between your guitar and your amp, or you can hook them up to the built-in effects loop, which can be switched from parallel to series. With a button at the bottom, you can set the effects loop anywhere between +10dB and -4dB. To keep your signal free from noise and feedback, the AMP1 also features an integrated noise gate with various options. For guitarists who want even more sounds and switching options, BluGuitar also offers the Remote1 (sold separately).
Your very own sound
With the AMP1, you can save your favourite settings as a preset and switch between them using the three foot switches. It can be hooked up to 8 and 16-ohm speaker cabinets, is equipped with a good speaker simulation output for studio recording purposes, and has a headphone output too. It functions on power networks of 100 to 240 volts, which means you can use it just about anywhere. If you're in the market for an amp that's easy to transport, and versatile enough for any kind of music, then the AMP1 is the amp for you!
