Neutrik's SpeakOn speaker plugs have become the standard when it comes to connecting speakers and Amplifiers. Meanwhile, other manufacturers have come to use this type of plug as well. The plug is available in 2, 4 or 8-pin versions. The 2-pin and 4-pin version have the same size. The 8-pin version is slightly larger, because it has to accommodate more connectors. . SpeakOn connectors can often be found on Passive Full-Range Speakers and Passive Subwoofer, as well as on many amplifiers.
