Thanks to the passive/active switch, this amp can also be adapted to accommodate your specific bass model, so you can avoid the less tasteful distortion caused by the too-powerful signal of some active basses. But, if you are in need of some distortion, simply hit the dedicated switch and up the gain.

Detailed Tone Tweaking

Open up the Drive pot to dictate the level of punch and edge added by the on-board Microtubes Engine and toggle the Off/Vintage and Microtubes/Microtubes B3K switches to select your preferred drive mode. From there, the Blend pot balances your clean signal with the overdriven signal so you're assured of articulate clarity, while a powerful four-band EQ section and built-in compression have been supplied for tweaking your tone with surgical precision.
