No disco vibe would ever be complete without a mirror ball. Also known as a disco ball, these simple yet effective party-starters can be combined with a few par spotlights and maybe a laser to reflect and shoot light across the dance floor. To elevate the effect of a mirror ball to a more dynamic level, it can also be mounted onto a mirror ball motor, which automatically rotates the ball and can either be mains or battery powered. There are plenty of different motors to choose from, so make sure that the maximum load of the motor you're considering is able to bear the weight of your mirror ball. Some mirror ball motors also come with an extra level of security in the form of a safety eyelet and chain, and different models will rotate at different speeds, which can be checked by looking at the RPM (revolutions per minutes).
