General
Backed up by the latest version of Engine DJ, the upgraded Denon DJ Prime 4 Plus offers every last pro-grade function that DJs could wish for, from support for Stems to Wi-Fi streaming and built-in track analysis. As a matter of fact, this top-of-the-line DJ controller even enables you to control your Smart lighting, use your laptop as a wireless media player, and create layered effects using the Touch FX feature in combination with the XY Control Screen. Meanwhile, the various performance pad modes guarantee ultra-smooth control over your Hot Cue, Saved Loops, Samplers, Slicers and more and, as of the summer of 2023, Denon DJ has added Bluetooth audio-streaming on top.
Improved Lay-Out
Boasting a more intuitive lay-out than its predecessor as well as bigger jog wheels for an improved hands-on feel, this 4-channel/4-deck controller comes with a refined design and can be hooked up to any essential external gear, including line sources and turntables equipped with a phono preamp. The balanced Main, Booth and Zone outputs along with the robust, gig-grade housing ensure fuss-free live performances, where literally any song request can be fulfilled thanks to built-in support for official streaming services such as Amazon, Beatport, Beatsource, TIDAL, Soundcloud Go+ and even Dropbox.
Engine DJ OS
The newest version of Engine DJ OS not only makes the Denon DJ Prime 4+ the most advanced all-in-one DJ system to date, but sets you up with standalone Stems functionality. This means you're free to take a track and isolate its vocals and instruments, then use the stems for creative transitions or effects. Other features include a built-in sampler; the option to manually control Smart Lighting or activate sound-to-light mode; Ableton LINK integration; Touch FX for smooth effect-based build-ups, drops and transitions; and Smartlists for generating playlists based on your preferences and connected drives.
