General
Featuring motorised platters, improved STEM control and rock-solid MAG FOUR and PRECISION FEEL faders, the RANE DJ Performance is a 4-channel/4-deck controller made for more discerning deejays. Backed up by powerful motors, the 7-inch high-torque aluminium platters provide accurate feedback while you're matching beats, while the tried-and-tested MAG Four cross faders and PRECISION FEEL faders grant total control over the feel of this pro-grade DJ controller.
STEMS & FX
The Performer gives you four ways to control STEMs, including Rane's exclusive STEM SPLIT feature that automatically splits the a capella and instrumentals into two separate mix channels that you can then add effects to at will. In addition, there's the STEM LEVEL function which lets you use the 3-band EQ of each channel to kill, boost or adjust the sound. Speaking of effects, the Performer comes pre-loaded with 29 paddle-triggered main effects and 4-button channel FX so you can inject classic effects like reverb and echo, or go for more fresh and spectacular options like Scale Down, Recycler or Riser.

With Rane-made gear, you never need to question the build quality. As the name suggests, the Performer is designed with professional, gigging DJs in mind, so you're definitely not getting a cheap plastic housing here. This DJ controller is built like a tank and has been outfitted with a small army of inputs and outputs - including RCA phono, line, and balanced/unbalanced ports - plus 3.5" LCD displays integrated into the platters so you always know exactly what's happening.
