General
The Enttec DMX USB Pro is a professional DMX interface which, compared to the standard DMX USB version, has both an isolated DMX input and output to protect your computer from power spikes of up to 1,500 Volts. In addition, the DMX USB Pro features an internal frame buffer to make sure your lighting and other DMX-ready gear is fed reliable data signals without needlessly burdening your computer. This Enttec interface is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux systems and works with practically all controller apps. You can download the free Pro-Manager application to configure the interface and install firmware updates.

Nice little piece of kit, especially the fact that it stores the DMX values in a buffer so if something goes wrong with my computer/controller and it stops sending values it just sends the last values, which is great in a pickle.

The Enttec DMX Pro is exactly the product I needed to put together my ideas for automated lights to fit alongside live audio. The item was simple and easy to use straight out of the box and overall well worth the money!

J'avais acheté juste avant une interface USB SweetLight DMX512S qui ne fonctionnait que sur mon PC portable, pas sur le fixe. L'Enttech fonctionne partout et avec plein de logiciels (VST Live, EMU le logiciel d'Enttech, Freestyler et Lightjams) contrairement à la SweetLight, c'est plus ouvert.

Tweede aanschaf van de Enttec dongle. Voor 2e universum en als back-up.
Mijn eerste is robuust metalen behuizing, maar de nieuwe is een kunststof behuizing.
Jammer, maar ok….
Functioneel prima, en de USB aansluiting is rock-solid!

Heb afgelopen weken 2 van deze dingen besteld om Pixelmapping en laser software aan te sturen vanaf onze lichttafel. Het was even schrikken toen ik het uit de verpakking haalde. De behuizing is van kunststof en voelt erg fragiel aan. Ik begrijp niet dat een stukje hardware van 170 euro zo goedkoop gebouwd is. Maar, het doet precies wat het moet doen. Aangesloten en zowel Pangolin als Enttec LED mapper werken. Dus voor de werking 5 sterren, maar voor de bouwkwaliteit 3 sterren, gemiddeld een 4.
