The D112 by AKG is one of the most popular bass drum mics in the world, and this AKG D112 MKII is its second incarnation. This professional microphone features a wide frequency range and high SPL, so that it makes light work of powerful, deep sound sources. Even though it's made for kick drums, it can also be used as a bass guitar cabinet or trombone microphone. A presence boost at 4 kHz results in a sound that cuts through the mix perfectly, without the need for any further EQ adjustments. As a tiltable microphone clip is integrated into it, it can be accurately positioned.

Great kick drum mic, exactly what I wanted, a sturdy well made mic which gives a very honest sound off the kick drum, ideal.

Uitpakken, aansluiten en drummen maar! Top microfoon voor zeer redelijke prijs. Geen gedoe met eindeloos eq-en, hij geeft direct exact weer wat je erin stopt. De microfoon heeft een behoorlijk gewicht. Als je ver moet reiken met het statief dan wipt de kleine lichte Innox omver. Dan is een zwaarder statief aan te bevelen.
