General
The Devine PRO 2000 is a set of comfortable, accurate headphones with a closed construction. They are perfectly suitable for use in studios and for monitoring, thanks to the wide frequency response (15 Hz - 22 kHz). The efficient 40mm NdFeB drivers ensure a lively, natural sound, from deep bass tones to sparkling trebles. The ear pieces can be folded too, which comes in handy for one-sided listening. The PRO 2000 can be used anywhere: in the studio, on location or in combination with live PA systems.
Devine PRO 2000: impedance
Headphone impedance is usually noticeable in the volume, which is produced at a certain input power. The Devine Pro 2000s have a low impedance of 32 ohms. This means that they also produce a good, detailed sound at lower input powers. They are therefore perfectly suited for use with MP3 players, smartphones, tablets and other media players, without the need for a preamp (which is often required for studio headphones with a high impedance).
Comfort
The PRO 2000 headphones feature a leather-look finish, and thanks to the lined ear cushions, you can enjoy long listening sessions in comfort. The cable is 3 metres long, which gives you enough elbow room for both studio and entertainment use. The connector is 3.5 mm in size and a 6.3mm adapter is included. The Devine Pro 2000s are exceptionally versatile, high-quality headphones that are also very attractively priced.

Got these for a couple of reasons and never really expected them to outperform or even equal more expensive headphones that I own and to be honest, they don't. What they do give though is a nice lightweight fit, comfy around the ears and great for occasional use where you may not wish too great a level of detail or overpowering bass etc. So, in buying these, I was really looking for something that would be useful to use with a mp3 player or tablet etc and if they got damaged in the commuting environment or busy domestic setting, that I wouldn't be too upset about it. However, they are actually not bad at all, but as said above, won't match the high flyers in any way. They look good, are very reasonably priced for what you get, are copy and deliver enough quality that tells you that you haven't wasted some money on some cheap phones, but instead have purchased some very good budget headphones that you can be happy with for as long as they stay with you. Fold away into a nice easy size for a jacket pocket and have a nice long uncoiled lead that makes that easy too. In short - recommended for what they profess to be and actually are in actual use.
