Great microphone, especially for female voices. I used a SM58 for a long time but was disappointed in the muddy bass-heavy sound. The 58a is so much clearer and still has the excellent build quality that the 58 is known for. Love it!

Ben samen met mijn dochter bij Bax-shop in Goes een aantal microfoons gaan testen want een microfoon is heel persoonlijk en klinkt anders afhankelijk van de stem die er door zingt.
Na verschillende modellen te hebben getest zijn we uiteindelijk uitgekomen bij de Shure Beta 58a. Die klinkt net wat beter voor haar stem dan de concurrent van Sennheizer.
Heel handig dat je bij Bax een aparte ruimte hebt om dit te kunnen testen.

J'ai acheté ce micro pour mon fils. C'est un modèle que je connais bien car j'en possède déjà un moi-même, et j'en suis tellement satisfait que je voulais lui offrir la même qualité.
Le Shure Beta 58A est un micro robuste, polyvalent et très fiable. Ce que je trouve remarquable, c'est que la voix traverse mieux le mix par rapport à un SM58, sans avoir à pousser le volume à fond. Il est à la fois fin et précis, ce qui donne un résultat professionnel. C'est un vrai plus pour la scène, surtout quand il y a des guitares. La qualité de fabrication est top, on sent que c'est du matériel fait pour durer et résister aux aléas du live. Il est parfait pour la voix en groupe, car il isole bien les bruits ambiants et résiste très bien aux effets de larsen.
On peut acheter un Shure Beta 58A les yeux fermés si on cherche un micro dynamique haut de gamme pour la voix. Il offre un vrai plus sur scène ou en live et représente un excellent investissement pour tout musicien qui souhaite un micro professionnel et performant.
