The Beta 58A is one of Shure's professional top-shelf microphones. Just like its close sibling, the SM58, this dynamic vocal microphone is extremely popular and for all the right reasons. It reproduces sound sources with exceptional warmth and since the Beta 58A has a supercardioid pickup pattern, any unwanted background noise is filtered out, making your lead and backing vocalists sound distincty and clearly.
This Shure microphone has a wide frequency range (50 Hz - 16 kHz), tailored for vocals and microphone handling noise is effectively limited by the built-in shock mount. In short, this high-quality Shure microphone leaves you with nothing to worry about besides hitting those notes!

Great microphone, especially for female voices. I used a SM58 for a long time but was disappointed in the muddy bass-heavy sound. The 58a is so much clearer and still has the excellent build quality that the 58 is known for. Love it!
