The Beats By Dre Series Monster now features the Powerbeats sports headphones! As their name suggests, these in-ear models are perfect to use while you’re working out.

For the development of the headphones, Beats By Dre asked for the help of none other than Miami Heat star LeBron James, who after Lady Gaga is yet another big name to be linked with this popular brand.

The Powerbeats sports feature an adjustable, bendable ear clip with a flexible arm, making them perfect for intense activities such as exercising. The Powerbeats produce a clear and powerful sound at any volume as their built-in subwoofer provides firm, low tones while the tweeter takes care of very bright mids and trebles.

Beats By Dre have made sure that the Powerbeats are extremely durable and have a long life span. The headphones feature ControlTalk, so you can make hands-free phone calls, with your iPhone for instance, by means of an integrated microphone. It also lets you operate the music on your iPod and iPhone.

The Powerbeats headphones are available in three different colours: red, white and this black version.

Wrote the following about Beats By Dre Powerbeats sporting earplugs black

Ik heb deze Sport in-ears gekocht voor het fitnessen. Ik zocht al een tijdje naar hoge kwaliteit in-ears voor het fitnessen, en had me zoektocht bijna opgegeven, toen deze uitkwamen. Ik zag dat bax-shop ze als eerste binnen zou hebben en sloeg meteen toe, ook al ben ik niet zo'n fan van de beats by dre lijn. Toch was ik een zeer tevreden gebruiker van deze in-ears. Ze doen namelijk geen pijn aan je oren omdat ze geen "seal" maken, dit is perfect voor het sporten. De bassen die hieruit komen zijn perfect voor het sporten, diep en dus motiverend om door te gaan. Midden en hoog is niet echt goed voor de prijsklasse, maar dat wist ik al voordat ik hem kocht. Ze zijn de perfecte oplossing voor de sporter. Ik heb erg van ze genoten, tot ze stuk gingen. De Controls voor mijn ipod hielden ermee op dus heb ik ze terug gezonden naar bax-shop voor reparatie. Ondanks dat dit het vooralsnog heeft uitgehouden maak ik me ook zorgen om de rechte plug die in je mp3 speler gaat, als ze voor een L-plug hadden gekozen zou het veel steviger zijn.
Ondanks een paar kleine problemen met de bouwkwaliteit kan ik deze oordopjes nog steeds aanraden, het is simpelweg de beste oplossing voor de sporter.
