Within their Modern Player series, Fender take familiar, classic models and supply them with a distinctive, modern touch. In full 'my-first-Fender' tradition, this versatile Telecaster is a genuine Fender at an attractive price. Its HSS pickup configuration enables you to twang and rock. This guitar has a transparent charcoal finish that leaves a starring role for the beautiful grain of the body, and is also available in Honey Burst.
Fender Modern Player Telecaster Plus: modern versatility
Instead of the standard duo of single coils, this Telecaster Plus features an HSS pickup configuration. Up front, it has a Telecaster pickup and in the middle there's a Strat single coil. At the bridge, we find a humbucker that can also be used as a single-coil thanks to a convenient mini switch. Throw in the master volume and tone controls and you are equipped with a wide array of different tones. The Strat-style bridge's six saddles can be adjusted individually, ensuring perfect intonation and a base tone with lots of sustain but without dead notes and buzzing.
Classic pine
The lightweight pine body of this Modern Player reminds us of the very first Telecaster made by Leo Fender, moreover, it produces a balanced Fender sound with clear mid frequencies. The maple neck is made out of a single piece of wood and adds proper definition to the overall sound. It features a fretboard with 22 jumbo frets and a 9.5-inch radius that allows for low action, ensuring great playing comfort in combination with the Strat-style body contour. The Modern Player Telecaster Plus Charcoal Transparent is a Telecaster that is positively bursting with Fender character.

Een van de grote pluspunten is de nek die ongelofelijk goed is en fijn speelt
De finish is bijzonder ; Als je er snel naar kijkt is hij zwart, maar in het licht is hij eigenlijk meer bruin.
Het enige minpuntje is dat de input jack bij mij los zat, maar die is makkelijk te herstellen.

Deze gitaar is zeker een leuk kwalitatief instrument, ik ben begonnen met spelen op een kopie van een squier stratocaster maar merk toch wel duidelijk het verschil met deze professionele gitaar en het geluid dat eruit komt, heeft een veel lichtere body.
Ook ziet deze gitaar er heel mooi uit, wat je wel niet ziet op de foto is dat de body niet volledig zwart glanzend is, de body is wat gelig-beige zwart en heeft het typische houtskoolpatroon erin (strepen dus).

Wellicht nog belangrijk voor nieuwe kopers: de gitaar kwam in mijn geval verschrikkelijk slecht afgesteld uit de doos. De pickups zaten zomaar lukraak en scheef in de body. De action was verschrikkelijk en de gitaar klonk niet zoals die in de winkel. Let hier dus op! Het verschil na afstellen is groot.

Ik geef deze gitaar 5 sterren omdat hij aan alle verwachtingen voldoet. Speelt licht en ligt perfect in de handen. Stemmechanieken erg goed, gitaar hangt in de kamer, 's nacht fris op de dag lekker warm, en blijft perfect gestemd.
Elementen werken goed in combinatie met de Marshall.
Voor de prijs kun je hem niet in de winkel laten
