Putting sweet, Ibanez-grade tone and smooth playability within affordable reach, the Ibanez RG421G electric guitar even comes coated in an extra-planetary Laser Blue Matte and finished with gold hardware. Underneath the sleek paint-job, the stable RG-shaped body has been delicately sculpted from a block of meranti, providing a warm, mahogany-style acoustic foundation, and the bolt-on maple neck has been given a thin Wizard III profile and the jatoba fretboard has been finished with 24 high-rising jumbo frets - all to support faster, heavier work. In terms of amplified sound, you're in the capable hands of a pair of RGA II ceramic Quantum humbuckers that deliver modern tightness and crystal clear definition that can be tweaked via a tone and volume pot and a five-way selector switch. The stability of a fixed F106 bridge firmly finishes off this stage-ready, versatile shred-monster.
