General
As the Maya44 has been updated after a long time, so should the Gigaport HD. This is why the Gigaport + has been developed, an interface based on the Maya44 interface. It has different properties however, for instead of 4 inputs and 4 outputs, this interface has 8 separately assignable outputs! The cherry on top is this interface's ability to support 7.1 surround sound, which can also benefit your home-made cinema system. The audio is processed in good quality, in 24-bit, 96 kHz.
Roadproof construction and connectors of the Gigaport HD+
The Gigaport HD+ is equipped with the same roadproof casing as the Maya44+. This makes the interface perfect for mobile productions, but thanks to the stylish design it won't look out of place at home. The Gigaport HD+ is equipped with 8 separate line outputs at the back, plus two headphone outputs on the front via 6.35mm jacks. One is to pre-listen to channel 1 and 2, the other connectors consists of a mix of all 8 separate channels. The various indication LEDs offer you an optimal oversight of the active channels. In no time, they trace possible cable errors or defects.
Software information about the audio interface
The Gigaport HD+ can be installed easily as it will hardly give you any work at all. Thanks to the ASIO 2.0 drivers, the interface works stably in 32 and 64-bit systems, but it also works native with OS X without any special drivers. The stable workings of the interface is what the other ESI interfaces were also well known for. It supports the most important DJ and producer software, so that you can always use your favourite program.

Pas de problème pour gérer 6 sorties séparées en même temps. Au delà, je ne sais pas.
Testée pendant 8 heures d'affiler pour diffuser en boucle une même bande son mono sur 6 sorties et elle était à peine tiède :-)
Malgré sa taille, ce produit a l'air robuste et professionnel.
Bon rapport qualité/prix.

Let wel op: op de foto van de achterkant lijkt het alsof het 8 jack aansluitingen zijn, maar het zijn 8 RCA/Tulp aansluitingen! Aan de voorkant zitten wel 2 Jacks.

Le seul défaut est la puissance des voyants qui sont carrément aveuglant dans le noir et créent trop de lumière parasite pour une régie de théatre. Problème résolu avec un bout de chaterton.

Niet geschikt voor in een club, maar voor de slaapkamer/hobby DJ een zeer geschikte en goedkope oplossing!

Het enigste minpunt vind ik de usb poort aansluiting, die is niet zo stevig!
