The incredibly compact Scarlett Solo interface has been made even more attractive. Focusrite have made a number of huge improvements on their last model, such as newly designed preamps, lower latency, a higher sample rate at 24-bit audio quality, and protection from power surges and cuts to keep the analogue circuit protected. As if that wasn't enough, you also get a generous software bundle when you buy a Solo USB audio interface. The bundle consists of an exclusive version of Pro Tools, so you can get started right away. In addition to Pro Tools, you also get Ableton Live Lite, Softube Time and Tone, and the Focusrite bundle Red Plug-in Suite, in addition to 2 GB of Loopmasters samples. In short, it's better and more comprehensive than ever before!
Scarlett Solo Gen 2: Lightweight and portable
With the Scarlett Solo, you can make professional recordings quickly and easily, no matter where you are in the world. The only thing you need besides the Solo is a computer, a USB cable to power the interface, and the software (which comes with the package). More and more musicians want to be more mobile, and that's easy with the Scarlett Solo. Simply plug your microphone or your instrument into the front of the Solo. The preamplifier has been completely redesigned with more accurate gain levels that can take on a higher input from your guitar or mic. It can also be adjusted in more detail, so it will read more correctly later on in your DAW.
Even lower latency
Latency refers to the delay that you often get when you're working with live recordings. this time around, Focusrite has put in a lot of work to lower the latency. To give an example, it's now possible to set up a buffer of just 32 samples at a sample rate of 96 kHz, resulting in an unbelievable low latency of just 2.74 ms. This means that you can make your recordings with confidence because you won't have to worry about an audible delay. Of course, this is also advantageous when you're working with plugins, as they will now respond more directly, making your work easier.
Tips or comments about this product- Please note: to use this interface with Windows, you need to install a driver. This is not necessary for use with Mac OSX, as the Scarlett Solo is class compliant with Mac.

Zoals steeds goed verpakt afgeleverd.
Makkelijk te gebruiken, werkt perfect en heeft geen delay (vertraging) tijdens opnemen zoals je bij sommige microfoons/interfaces wel hebt.
Echt een aanrader
Pluspunten: compact, mooi design, makkelijke installatie, gebruiksvriendelijk, goede opnamekwaliteit.
kleine prijs voor heel wat kwaliteit. topper!
De geluidskwaliteit van focusrite is top! het kastje is erg klein. iets kleiner dan ik had verwacht eigenlijk. had er ooit één bij een vriend gezien maar die heeft blijkbaar net een andere met iets meer inputs.
kijk wel even naar hoe je hem gaat verbinden met je studio monitor speakers. Dit is de versie met rca (tulp). De andere versies zijn trs of xlr meen ik (de grotere stekkers).
Verder complimenten aan BAX voor de snelle levering en nette wijze van verpakken.
ik ben afgelopen weekend ook maar even naar de winkel in Amsterdam gereden. Daar heb je een mooie ruimte om ook speakers te testen. Dat wordt vast mijn volgende aankoop bij jullie :)
