The highly advanced Universal Audio Apollo Twin X Quad Gen 2 Thunderbolt interface has been designed to plant studio-quality sound on the desktop of any future-thinking producer. Boasting elite-class audio conversion, Quad Core DSP operation and two Unison™ microphone preamps, this model makes it possible to record with astounding clarity and detail. Real-time analogue emulations are combined with digital accuracy, handing users full control over more than 200 UAD plugins from names like Neve, Manley and Auto-Tune.
Improved Dynamic Range and the Lowest Distortion Ever
The next-gen converters set up the Apollo Twin X Quad with an unparalleled dynamic range and the lowest distortion level of any of the Apollo interfaces that came before, making this model the new go-to for recording as well as critical listening. The addition of Apollo Monitor Correction, which is driven by Sonarworks, means that your monitoring installation as well as the headphone output can be optimised to match where you're working. Meanwhile, the Bass Management function accommodates subwoofers, supporting full range sound, while an on-board Auto Gain function sets the input gain for you, ensuring a near-effortless recording process.
