Using this Intelligent USB-C 5V to 9V Voltage Converter 60 cm from Rockboard, you can easily connect your effect pedal to a device such as a power bank or laptop, allowing you to power your pedal even without a traditional power adapter. Be sure to check your effect pedal's specifications because this adapter can power pedals with a DC 2.1 x 5.5mm power jack that require 9V DC. The 0-centimetre cable gives you some leeway. The connector is a USB-C connector.
