While setting yourself up with a live monitoring system can be complicated and expensive, Sennheiser serve up the affordable, fuss-free and complete solution in the form of the XS Wireless IEM wireless in-ear monitoring system. Compiling an XSW IEM EK stereo receiver beltpack, an XSW IEM SR stereo transmitter and IE4 in-ears as well as a matching antenna, rack mount kit, various power supplies to support international use and a pack of AA batteries, this Sennheiser-set comes with everything you need to monitor yourself or someone else in the band.
The XS Wireless IEM: Time to Level Up
Fully wireless and easy to use, the XSW IEM monitoring system allows you to roam around the stage while you keep tabs on the monitor-mix in the midst of screaming floor monitors and PA speakers. The system operates on the professional UHF frequency band based on pre-defined frequency ranges that are quick and easy to configure, while features such as an integrated EQ, a limiter and various monitoring modes flesh out a stage-focussed solution the world hasn't seen before.
Various Monitoring Modes and Maximum Range
The Sennheiser XSW IEM can be set up in one of three modes: Stereo, Mono and Focus. Stereo Mode gets you improved audio quality and an enhanced spatial representation of the sound; Mono Mode ensures a better range and a firmed-up sound; and Focus Mode combines two mono signals, allowing you to effortlessly toggle between both and pick what you want to hear. Furthermore, you're free to connect as many bodypacks to a single transmitter as needed so that every performer in a large group is able to receive the monitor mix and, with 30mW of transmitting power and a 100-metre maximum wireless range at your disposal, you're certainly all set to take even the biggest stage by storm.

I bought two of these Sennheiser XSW IEM SETS- E systems for my Daughter as her main Christmas present for 2025, as she was looking to take music to the next level next on stage with her rock band. Using IEM's helps the band to here themselves a lot better on stage rather than having to rely on floor monitors. Although my Daughter is not the best with tech like this on stage. She found this Sennheiser system easy to setup, operate and navigate while in rehearsals. Highly recommend this system for its ease of use, the build quality, and most importantly good stable sound through to her in ear buds.

Bevalt goed. Waar naar zn geld tot nu toe. Lichte sssjis geluiden en ruis. Als de ontvanger half open staat en je goed volume hebt valt de ruis en storing weg.
Ik gebruik de set met twee ontvangers en 1 zender in combi met de focus modus. Werkt super.

Goede set voor een goede prijs. Het kan altijd befer maar dan gaat de prijs ook veel verder omhoog. En het hangt er vanaf wat je er in stopt! Plug&play en schaf goede “oortjes” aan bij Ears4U. Het plastic doet wellicht iets goedkoop aan, maar dat hoor je niet…

meegeleverde oortjes kun je het beste meteen weggooien. de kabel is noisy als hell en de audio kwaliteit is om van te janken. Met de EQ van de ontvanger is mijn mening over de oortjes "hopelijk zijn ze niet duurder dan €4".
Verder is de kwaliteit van de rest wel on-par met wat ik van sennheiser's XSW series verwacht. Ontvanger is van plastic, maar wel het duurder plastic dat tegen een stootje kan (ben onhandig en de unit is al een keer gevallen, geen krassen in het plastic er door). De zender is ook stevig en heeft een metale behuizing.
De ontvanger zelf geeft een lichte constante ruis, dit komt alleen niet van de amp af omdat het volume niet veranderd. Vanaf ongeveer half volume op de ontvanger heb je amplefier ruis. Als er eenmaal geluid naar de ontvanger toe speelt, valt de ruis helemaal weg.
Verder een prima product dat ik zeker aan kan raden.

Waarom heb ik zolang gewacht om deze aan te kopen? Het is mijn eerste in ear monitoring set en ik was wat bang om hierop over te stappen (voorheen gebruikte ik floor wedge). Zou de klank wel OK zijn en wat als er een drop out/signaalverlies zou zijn, dan zou ik alle backing kwijt zijn en in het ijle gitaar spelen. Intussen heb ik deze set gebruikt voor één optreden en diverse repetities en ik kan alleen spijt hebben dat ik dit niet eerder kocht. Het geluid is prima (ik heb hier wel de IE 100 PRO van Sennheiser bij aangeschaft, de standaard bijgeleverde IE zijn ook wel ok). Ik las een review van iemand die veel last van drop out had, maar ik heb er tot op heden nog geen last van gehad. De menu's zijn zeer duidelijk en intuïtief, je hebt dit snel onder de knie. Het feit dat je mono/stereo hebt is al fijn, maar de focus-functie vind ik echt geweldig. Het laat me toe mijn eigen mix te maken: ik neem de standaard-mix van de mengtafel en dan een signaal van mijn gitaar (amp modeler) en kan de mix van beiden dan op de receiver zelf aanpassen. Dat geeft enige geruststelling voor het geval er iemand aan de mengtafel per ongeluk de verkeerde knop zou omdraaien. Een echte aanrader dus!
