This clip-on condenser microphone for brass instruments is none other than the Extreme SPL version of the CORE 4099. The 152dB SPL capacity of this microphone makes the Loud SPL (142dB) version look frankly childish. Distortion free sound without any loss of nuance or subtlety; high-resolution and a flat frequency-response. While this comprehensive microphone comes with a clip tailor-made for brass instruments, DPA also offer a range of clamps and clips compatible with other specific instruments including drums and guitars.
