The Casio CT-S300 is compact keyboard with 61 touch-sensitive keys. With over 400 sounds, 77 rhythms, Dance Mode with 50 patterns and 60 preset songs, this keyboard is sure to keep you entertained for a long time! Designed with beginners in mind, Casio have equipped the CT-S300 with a Coach-function and compatibility with the 'Chordana Play for Keyboard' app, which lets you make the most of this solid, no-nonsense keyboard.
Casio CT-S300 CasioTone 61-Keys
All the essential features a beginner needs are available on the CT-S300. In addition to the headphone jack, there's an audio input for your MP3 player, so you can easily play along with your favourite tracks or any other play-alongs during keyboard lessons. Quite handy is the integral handlebar, which lets you take this lightweight, 3.3 kg keyboard anywhere you want to go. The CT-S300 is supplied with power via the included power adapter but can also run on 6 AA batteries (not included) for approximately 19 hours.

Awesome keyboard. I was doing extensive research on a good, solid keyboard for an absolute beginner and ended up settling for the CT-S300. I don't have anything to complain about. The build quality is great, it looks and feels like a very well made keyboard and since it arrived I've been playing it more than my playstation, I'm hooked.
I haven't tried connecting it to my PC yet or having a go at the 400 other sounds it had built it, just baby steps for now. Though I'd definitely recommend this as a starting keyboard, or just a general one for playing around with. Plus, it came really quickly and arrived safely, never bought from bax music before but I won't be so hesistent to do so in future. Cheers.

Got this as my first keyboard in an attempt to learn a new skill. After searching around for quality beginner keyboards, it appeared that the casiotone series was a safe bet. The S300 is the only Casiotone S model that has touch sensitive keys (light presses are quiet and harder presses are louder) which definitely helps a beginner, such as myself, with their technique. It also makes it as close to a real piano as a keyboard can be.
There are roughly 400 sounds that you can choose from, all of which are fun and have brilliant audio quality but the stereo grand piano (sound 1) is great to use when you're first learning.
The size of the keyboard is very manageable and is very light, so good for moving around with. There is a useful carry handle at the top of the keyboard which doubles up as the holder for the sheet music rest.
I am extremely happy with the keyboard and honestly can't think of anything I would improve. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a smaller more convenient way to practice their playing on full size keys, beginner or not.

Een uitstekende keyboard als voor wanneer je net begint, heb het zelf gekozen na een uitgebreide zoektocht op het internet waar diverse bronnen steeds dit keyboard aanbevelen. Alles werkt en is uitstekend alhoewel de audio wat minder is maar het blijft het beste wat je kan krijgen voor zo'n laag prijs.

De ingebouwde geluiden en speakers zijn oke, niet wauw, maar zeker goed genoeg.
Werkt snel en eenvoudig, mede door de simpele layout.
Moest je twijfelen tussen een cts100/200, zou ik toch voor de cts300 gaan omwille van touch sensitivity wat toch een verschil maakt.
Een mooi keyboard om mee te starten!

Het geluid van het keyboard is niet goed maar acceptabel genoeg om lekker mee te spelen. Ik heb hem gekocht omdat hij compact is, op batterijen werkt en het meteen doet als je hem aan zet. Het toetsenbord speelt goed. De drempel is daarom heel laag om hem even te pakken en een paar minuutjes wat op te spelen. Wel jammer om te zien dat de prijs een week nadat ik hem heb gekocht is gezakt van 189 naar 157 euro. Had ik nou nog maar een weekje getwijfeld ;-)

Très bon clavier. Les touches sont très agréables (presque comme un vrai piano). Le réglage du son est vraiment appréciable. Acheté pour une enfant de 8 ans qui débute au piano.

We waren opzoek naar een leuk betaalbaar keyboard. Voor mezelf om opnieuw te leren piano spelen en voor mijn zoon die het nog allemaal moet leren.
Na diverse keyboard vergelijkingen, reviews en video's zijn we bij deze Casio CT S300 terecht gekomen. Inmiddels bijna 2 weken in huis en we zijn erg tevreden met het keyboard. Het gebruikersgemak is prima, alles is makkelijk en duidelijk in te stellen. Het geluid uit de speakers van het keyboard (of via een koptelefoon) is ook erg mooi en gaat behoorlijk hard. Naar onze mening is dit dus echt een héél mooi instapmodel waar we nog lang gebruik van zullen maken.
In de aankoop hebben we naar een aantal modellen gekeken. Uiteindelijk zijn we op deze casio terecht gekomen. Wat specs betreft lijkt hij als 2 druppels water op de CTK 3500. Vanwege de black Friday aanbieding en vanwege de mooie compacte behuizing uiteindelijk voor dit model gekozen. De behuizing voelt ook steviger aan dan die van de CTK 3500.
Tot dusver heel tevreden met de aankoop. Heel veel mogelijkheden, ook in combinatie met de Casio App Chordana die heel goed samenwerkt met onze iPad en dit keyboard. Is een mooie en goede ondersteuning bij het opnieuw leren keyboard spelen.
Jammer is wel dat de uitgebreide handleiding er niet standaard bij zit. Je kan deze downloaden via de Casio site.
