Halogen lamps, LEDs and energy-saving bulbs in tube-form all make use of the R7S fitting. These so-called linear lamps come with a contact point on either side and, despite their humble size, offer a large amount of light which is why you'll often find R7S bulbs inside construction lamps. In addition to 230V variants, R7S linear bulbs are available as 24V, 28V and 42V bulbs. Always double-check the specifications of any lamp or fixture before buying a fresh bulb!
