The Line 6 is a 24-minute looper with many many extras. For instance, you can play along endlessly with over a hundred pre-programmed jam tracks and drum loops. The sound-on-sound looper allows you to record multiple tracks and play them simultaneously so you can record a rhythm over one of the jam tracks and then add a wicked solo, completing the whole with some amazing vocals. You can record up to 100 sessions of 24 minutes with the Line 6 JM4 Looper. It is the ideal practice partner!

Expansive connectivity including SD-card slot

The Line 6 JM4 is equipped with a 1/4-inch instrument input and an XLR input for microphones. The aux input is for an additional guitar or microphone. Via the 1/8-inch CD/MP3 input you can play along to your favourite tunes. Both the 1/8-inch stereo headphone output and 1/4-inch stereo line outputs have separate volume controls. Additionally, the SD-card slot allows you to import or export up to 2 GB of recordings and loops. na een tijdje experimenteren begin ik aardig mijn draai te vinden met deze looper . ik weet zeker dat ik er nog zeer veel plezier aan ga beleven want de drumritmes en tracks zijn geweldig .

ik heb zeker geen spijt van mijn aankoop . de service van Bax was zoals gewoonlijk vlot en verzorgd .

Wrote the following about Line 6 JM-4 Looper foot pedal

Had een Line 6 JM-4 Looper besteld, welke ik de dag er op al binnen kreeg, het is een degelijk gebouwd apparaat met veel mogelijkheden, het geluid van het apparaat viel me voor wat ik er mee van plan was wat tegen, er kwam bij sommige geluidsopties ruis bij en heb hem daarom de volgende dag nog teruggezonden, de hele retourtransactie was inclusief terugbetaling binnen één week geregeld (netjes Bax!).
Om deze reden zal ik zonder twijfel mijn aankopen bij Bax blijven doen.

Ik kan me geheel aansluiten bij de review van Jean, met de volgende aanvulling;

Het is echt een hartstikke leuk apparaat met heel veel mogelijkheden. Vooral voor diegene die veel alleen spelen, zeer aanbeveling waardig. Het is net of er in no time een complete band in je huiskamer zit te spelen. Enige ervaring met effectpedalen en of sound creatie is wel wenselijk om er een optimaal resultaat uit te halen. Kwestie van veel experimenteren.
Leuk apparaat in een correcte prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.

De line 6 JM4 Looper is zoveel meer dan een looper. Ik speel gitaar als hobby en hoef dus geen rekening te houden met stage-toegankelijkheid. Desalniettemin kun je met 36 zelf programmeerbare presets ook daar aardig uit de voeten denk ik. Switchen tussen meerdere loops is alleen mogelijk als je deze van tevoren hebt opgenomen en is voor stage-werk aan de trage kant qua overschakelen, ook als je het interne geheugen en niet de SD kaart gebruikt. Loops kunnen niet worden uitgefade of anderszins op een mooie manier worden beeindigd. Het loopen op zich gaat heel eenvoudig. Waarom dan toch 4 sterren? Omdat de ingebouwde drum en songloops voor de alleen thuis spelende gitarist echt te gek zijn. Je kunt in je eentje lekker een end wegjammen en dit uiteraard met de looper opnemen. Met de rechter voetschakelaar verander je eenvoudig de functie van de overige drie. De toegekende functies staan op het display en zijn ook voor een brildrager staande met het apparaat op de grond goed af te lezen. Alle songs en drums hebben hun eigen gitaar preset maar die is heel makkelijk te vervangen door je zelf gemaakte instellingen. De bediening van de JM4 is eenvoudig en erg intuïtief. Voor mensen met ervaring met gitaarversterkers is het heel makkelijk je eigen sound te maken, middels drive, bass, middle, treble, reverb en volume aangevuld met diverse ampsettings, delay echo chorus phaser tremolo kun je veel kanten op. Kortom voor het echte podiumwerk en uitsluitend behoefte aan een looper kun je beter Boss of Digitech kopen. Maar om thuis in je eentje uit je dak te gaan is dit een geweldige machine.
