Following on from the success of the Ditto Looper, TC Electronics have taken things to the next level with the Ditto X2. All of the features that made the original pedal so popular - the 24-bit audio quality, the 5 minute loop time and the unlimited number of overdubs - have been retained. The X2 adds effects and the ability to import and export loops via a USB connector that can be used as a backing track. Another new addition is the dedicated stop functionality which enables you to end things nice and cleanly. Whether you're a beginner or a professional, you can have endless hours of fun with the Ditto X2.
The evolooption of the Ditto X2 Looper
The TC Electronic Ditto X2 Looper is an effects pedal designed especially for guitarists. Everything is contained in a compact stomp box that is easy to use. Many loopers tend to be unnecessarily complex which makes them difficult to use, but the Ditto X2 keeps things simple. The Undo and Redo functionality is controlled by the loop button, while there's a dedicated button for effects too. Run your loops in reverse or at half speed for an interesting new sound. Finally, there's StarJam that gives you free access to loops that were recorded by professional guitarists that you can jam along with.

I actually bought this looper pedal as another way to re-amp guitar parts, in addition to its looper function. So it is very versatile. Parts can be stored, and then easily transfered to and from a computer for editing.
I also chose it over other options as the recording quality was higher than the similar priced Boss option at time of purchase. The files are saved as 32 bit (and 16 bit)
The looper functions do what you expect, although the various switching required for available functions wasn't all that intuitive. The manual is quite clear though, so it's not too difficult to get to grips with.
A decent looper pedal with high quality recording.

Belle surprise lors du test , j'ai déjà lu le manuel en français téléchargeable sur une recherche google. C'est hyper simple a utiliser et parfait pour la scène. Le bouton loop pour enregistrer et stopper ce qui permet de lire la loop et après soit on enregistre un overdub en rappuyant sur loop soit on stoppe la lecture en appuyant sur le switch FX . la loop reste enregistrée et si on veut effacer et bien on appuie sur FX pendant 3 s. Donc sur scène ça permet de bien maitriser très simplement ses loop. Après pour d'autres usages lire le manuel c'est bien expliqué.
Le son est bien restitué, le boitier est robuste et sa taille permet de le placer dans un Pedalboard avec possibilité en stéréo.
Pour les pros du looping, il y a le port usb qui permet de sauver ses créations ou de télécharger , je n'ai pas testé.
En résumé un Looper très bien conçu et de bonne qualité pour tout usagés débutant comme confirmés.
Le son est bien restitué, le boitier est robuste et sa taille permet de le placer dans un Pedalboard avec possibilité en stéréo.
Pour les pros du looping, il y a le port usb qui permet de sauver ses créations ou de télécharger , je n'ai pas testé.

Dit is in principe een handig en eenvoudig bruikbaar apparaat maar allerlei links naar gratis software werken niet meer en de handleiding is veel te compact. Na een update van de firmware conform de instructies op de site van TC electronic zelf, werkt bovendien het hele apparaat niet meer. Lezend op internet blijkt dat achteraf een bekend probleem.

Absoluut toppedaal, aan iedereen die twijfelt welke looper te kopen, denk niet langer koop de Ditto...
Magnifiek pedaal werkt perfect, de twee inputs zijn ook extreem handig, maar het leukste van al vind ik toch wel de lichtjes

Wat mij betreft zijn de loopers van TC Electronic de ENIGE loopers. Geen enkel ander merk geeft zo onvervalst je klank weer als TCE. Wat er in de Ditto gaat, komt er *EXACT* terug zo uit. Perfect dus. En hij kan ook stevigere signalen (bvb. synths) aan, zonder te oversturen. Een essentiële tool die in geen enkele set-up zou mogen ontbreken. Maximum score!

TC Electronic è una garanzia e questo looper non poteva sfuggire a tale regola. Il suo unico difetto (le dimensioni generose - per essere inserito in una pedalboard magari già affollata) è anche un suo grande pregio (estremamente semplice da usare e accessibile anche da un piede 47 senza particolari attenzioni).
Vincente la possibilità di stoppare il loop col pulsante destro - non solo con sequenze insidiose di pressioni su un unico pulsante - che è configurabile su tre posizioni (due effetti e lo stop) che consentono notevoli possibilità creative. Possibilità di memorizzare su PC e caricare da PC loop specifici (nostri o di terzi) rendono questa "macchina da guerra" un complice molto prezioso. Inserito nella mia pedaliera di bassista appena ricevuto dalle mani del corriere, due sere dopo usato in live con successo e senza alcuna sbavatura! Se non è questo essere user/musician friendly.... allora cos'è? Consigliatissimo!
