Waarschuwing voor gebruikers van Cubase 12/13. M-Audio doet NIETS om de setup mogelijk te maken. Ja, we zijn allemaal wat onhandigheid gewend van midi-controllers, maar dit slaat werkelijk nergens op. De documentatie van M-Audio is achterhaald en onbruikbaar. Andere gebruikers hebben op het Steinberg forum een (enorme) handleiding geschreven ( https://forums.steinberg.net/t/how-to-configure-change-m-audio-hammer-88-pro-daw-functions/839999/15 ), maar anno 2024 is uren aan setup-werk krankzinnig, wanneer dit ook met een simpel script kan.

Om de midi controller mogelijkheden volop te benutten is wel een kleine studie nodig, echt simpel is dat niet, maar voor mij zijn dat alleen makkelijke extra opties, die leuk zijn om op een regenachtige zondagmiddag uit te vogelen. Hij ziet er verder geweldig uit, in ik ben helemaal verguld met dat rode viltrandje boven aan de toetsen, het draagt eraan bij dat ik dit keyboard als een rijk bezit ervaar!
Mijn conclusie: een geweldig keyboard voor een heel aanvaardbare prijs.
En de service van Bax: niets op aan te merken, fijne website, leuke winkel (ik kom er soms in Rotterdam) en snelle levering met voldoende e-mail terugkoppeling.
