The Optoma UHD35STx projector is a great addition, or centrepiece even, for a home cinema or gaming set-up. This short-throw projector is equipped with a special lens that means it can be set up anywhere from 40 centimetres to 3.3 metres away from your projection screen, with a maximum screen size of 7.63 metres (diagonal). Set it to 4K/60hz mode for ultra-crisp images, or activate the 1080p/240Hz mode and play video games with an input latency of just 4.2ms.

As well as HDR10 and Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG), the UHD35STx boasts a high brightness (3,600 lumen), which means it maintains clear high-def images during the day and in well-lit rooms. Optoma has installed two HDMI 2.0 inputs that both support 3D video; a built-in 10W speaker; and a four-corner correction function so you're always assured of properly aligned images. Even the included remote control has something special: backlit buttons for easy control after you've dimmed the lights.
