General
The Optoma HD26 is the ideal home theatre projector. It projects movies, sports and games effortlessly under virtually any lighting conditions. This is made possible by the high contrast ratio, 2,500:1, and the high light yield of no less than 3,200 ANSI lumen. Besides that, it is capable of Full HD quality, so following the ball during a sports game won't be a problem thanks to its razor-sharp image projection. The icing on the cake would have to be the fact that the HD26 even projects 3D images in full HD. Pure viewing pleasure!
Optoma HD26: mobile applications
These days, projectors aren't only being used with computers, DVD players and tuners; mobile devices like your phone or tablet can be hooked up to them as well via the MHL protocol. This way, you can share your photos, videos and games on the big screen. To provide as much detail as possible, Optoma has integrated what's known as DLP technology, which adjusts the amount of light to the projection. When darker images are projected, the bulb brightness and contrast ratio are adjusted to avoid overexposure.
Projector in use
To provide an image as sharp as possible, Optoma has enabled the HD26 with the ability to project at 24 frames per second. The result is a smooth image you could watch for hours. This projector's light bulb has an extra long life span of 6,000 hours on average. BrilliantColor technology ensures that a wide variety of colours are projected as vividly as possible. You can even adjust the colours to your own personal taste.
