The fully maple body, set-in mahogany neck, and walnut fretboard combine to finish a balanced and warm acoustic sound that never gets too shrill and comes packed with just the right amount of definition. Plug it in, and this AS hollow-body six-string more-than brings the goods.
The Ibanez AS73: Classic Elite, Sure Grip III, ART-1 & Quick Change III
Mounted with two dual-coil Classic Elite pickups combined with a three-way switch and volume and tone controls, this model boasts plenty of classic tonal range and since the controls have been fitted with Sure Grip III pots, you're assured of smooth and accurate fine tuning - no matter how sticky your fingers get. Meanwhile, the 12 inch fretboard radius has a tight, trusty feel beneath the fret hand, and stable tuning and enhanced sustain is assured by a Quik Change III tailpiece and ART-1 bridge.
