General
The SP1500A is an attractive budget speaker set by Skytec. The exterior of the speaker cabinets looks an awful lot like that of the popular Eon speaker, but imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and this model is a doozy!
Skytec have used very different components, however, allowing for a more wallet-friendly price. For speakers in this price range, they perform beautifully and contrary to most budget speakers, these don't use a piezo tweeter. Therefore, the sound of the tweeter is soft, pleasant and neat. As the speakers already feature an amplifier module, you can connect the speakers directly from your mixer. This amp module might add a bit of weight, but this is compensated for by the fact that the speaker cabinets have a lightweight ABS housing.
The set contains two speakers and a speaker stand pack, consisting of two stands and two carrying bags for the stands.

Built for purpose, the build is not thick just wide so be prepared for them to take up a fair bit of space if it's just for a bedroom setup, a disco setup they will suit fine, I have mounted speakers that only weigh around 4kg each so cannot comment on weight load but the 35mm sits nice and tight.

Goede statieven voor lichtere speakers. Qua gewicht ook makkelijk in gebruik. Tas voelt goedkoop aan, maar bied voldoende bescherming voor het opbergen en vervoeren.

Een prima compact statief setje voor speakers, een handig tasje om ze makkelijk in mee te kunnen nemen. Na een aantal keer gebruiken zaten er wel wat deukjes in het rubber van de voetjes door het gewicht van de speaker.
