The Fender CP-100 Parlor is a steel-string guitar for beginner guitarists looking for something distinctive. Parlor guitars deliver the same, well-known sparkling guitar-sound of a steel-string but have a more manageable body. This guitar is comparable to that of a classical/Spanish guitar but notably different due to its slender upper body. Renowned Fender gave the CP100 a satin-gloss body with beautiful sunburst-finish, narrow bindings and a mother-of-pearl rosette.
The CP-100's sound
The sound of the Fender CP-100 Parlor is tight and clear thanks to its smaller spruce body and steel strings. The mahogany sides and back contribute to the clarity and add some depth to the sound, so you can enjoy rich intonation from an affordable and compact instrument. Voor zijn prijs was ik aangenaam verrast door de kwaliteit van de materialen en de afwerking van de gitaar. Strakke hals, mooie matte lak, simpele maar stevige tuners die de gitaar goed in stemming houden.
De actie was bij mijn model wat hoog voor mijn smaak, maar omdat de gitaar verder wel strak was afgesteld kon ik dat makkelijk aanpassen naar mijn smaak door de brug wat te verlagen met een vijl.
Kortom: meer dan waar voor zijn geld. Een kwalitatief hoogwaardige gitaar voor een zeer schappelijke prijs. En hij ziet er ook nog eens heerlijk uit met zijn Violin Burst finish.

Ik kan deze gitaar echt aanraden voor iedereen, van goedkope eerste gitaar tot backup voor kleine optredens of om overal mee naar toe te nemen.

Het geluid dat er uit komt is heel mooi/warm en de look van de gitaar is echt prachtig.
Ik kan dan ook elke beginnende gitarist deze gitaar aanraden prijs/kwaliteit echt een topper !!!
