For starting studios or producers, it can seem like a whole new world! 'Which materials do I need? What is my budget? What do I need for a neat recording?'

At Bax-shop, we love helping out starting producers, and this recording bundle was a great way to do that. This bundle contains a high-quality studio microphone, a pop filter and a spider shockmount, so that you are assured of a great recording.

The microphone is a Samson C01 large-diaphragm microphone. This microphone is not only a great starter unit (partially thanks to a highly directional pickup pattern and gold-plated diaphragm), but also ideal for more advanced use!

As you only want to record what your specific audio source without noise, this set also includes a pop filter and spider shockmount. The pop filter ensures attenuation of sharp sounds and air movements caused by plosives (like the letter P) and the spider ensures that handling noise isn't picked up. Together these ensure that you can create a clear, noise-free recording.

Decent workhorse mic for vocal recording, drum overheads, etc - I've also used on a cello in a pinch! Makes a good entry level condenser mic for various purposes and a useful option to keep around.

This is a great product for the price! I bought this mic because I needed something with a hypercardioid ploar pattern to cut out the ambient sounds of the road and people talking in the room next to me. It's a vast improvement on the previous mic, doesn't cut out peripheral noise entirely, but brings it right down to a minimum.

The quality of the mic is also great in itself, good balanced range! If you're looking for a good starting condensing mic for vocal recording, this will be your one I think.

Wrote the following about Samson SP01 spider shock mount for Samson microphones

I had difficulty find a shock mount to fit this specific microphone as some Samson mounts only fit the Studio version of this mic (be warned). It all fits very well and includes the means to attach the mount to a conventional mic stand. I am very pleased with it. I would suggest that this product flags up as a recommended accessory when purchasing the G-Track Pro from this site, as I would have bought it at the same time.
