This Vincent Bach PT650 is a versatile pocket trumpet suitable for the trumpet player who wants to be able to address many different styles. The trumpet is made of a normal, clear lacquered brass and, despite its compact size, has the same range as a normal trumpet. The cylindrical bore gives this pocket trumpet a somewhat brighter sound, as you would expect from a regular trumpet. The lacquered finish also gives the trumpet a fair amount of brightness and body in terms of sound.

Despite its small size, this pocket trumpet can still be somewhat challenging for beginners. This is because it has the same tube length as a trumpet, only in the tube of the pocket trumpet there are more bends. These bends make it a bit more difficult to play. However, it does have a medium-large bore with a diameter of 11.68 mm, which gives a very fast, fine and reliable response. This pocket trumpet does not come with a maintenance kit, however, you do get a fine robust bag with sturdy handles and a bottle of valve oil.
