General

DAP's CST-6506 is a full range or wideband speaker to be built into a ceiling. The speaker is equipped with a 6.5-inch woofer and delivers 6 watts of power. The frequency range of the CST-6506 runs from 110 Hertz to 20 kilohertz. A big advantage of this speaker is its fire safety. Indeed, this speaker is EN 54-24 certified and equipped with a fire hood made of fire-resistant material. The grille and enclosure are made of metal. This means that this speaker can be used to broadcast messages even during a fire. So for airports and other public buildings, this is the ideal speaker.
