Always neatly finish off open spaces in your flight case with a faceplate like this one from Adam Hall, for example. This looks a lot more professional, but has an even greater advantage. Namely, it keeps dirt and dust, yet preeminent enemies of your valuable equipment, out. This one is a closed variant and is made of aluminium. Finally, it has a height of 4 units and is flat. This is in contrast to U-shaped plates that are often used but in some cases practically don't look so good.
