General

This professional installation rack offers 36 U of space and therefore allows you to install a variety of 19-inch products like amplifiers, mixers, equalizers, crossovers and playback devices.

It is delivered with foot stands as well as wheels. The rack is provided with ventilation panels at the sides, so that your gear will stay nice and cool. Ideal for catering companies and schools that need to install a fair bit of equipment.

Wrote the following about DAP installation rack powder-coated 36 U

This is good value as it is strong because of the vertical bar in the middle of each side, so have 100kg of equipment installed. Also assembles easily and the castor wheels move well. Also included are many captive nuts & bolts and shelf supports.
However.. *the 6mm slots for the shelf fixings in the vertical bars in both sides are badly made* so impossible to slide the fixings into position (they get stuck). Have to use a masonry chisel to open the slots so the fixings can be positioned - very difficult.
The shelf support brackets have no anti-rotation lug so are very hard to keep level when tightening the bolts - even if a washer is added. Manufacturer should make / use a slightly better bracket.
Also.. the rack was not well protected for shipping. Delivery was left on doorstep and drove off - The corners of the punched strips, both ends of both sides were bent-in, but easy to bend back into shape.
SO IS A GOOD RACK AND GOOD VALUE but is a manufacturing quality problem and delivery damage needs to be prevented by better packaging.

Wrote the following about DAP installation rack powder-coated 36 U

Geweldig rack! Zeker voor deze prijs! Met name de mounting rails in het midden van de beide zijdes van het rack zijn een uitkomst voor zware apparaten. Je kunt daar namelijk aan weerszijden een klein L-plaatje bevestigen (ruim aantal meegeleverd, evenals voldoende kooimoeren/bouten sets) waar het apparaat dan in het midden op kan rusten. Met name een uitkomst voor mijn servers. Ook al steken die een aantal centimeter uit aan de achterzijde, omdat het rack niet zo heel erg diep is - overigens geen probleem en dat wist ik van tevoren!

De levering was een heel ander verhaal!! Dat was op zeker niet de volgende dag. Niet de schuld van Bax, maar van PostNL. Niet dat dat uitmaakt, want ik wist gewoon niet wanneer het ding binnen zou komen en dat was knap vervelend (aangezien het een cargo levering betreft en ik er dus thuis voor moest zijn...). PostNL zelf wist het ook niet! Sterker nog, ze wisten niet eens waar het rack uithing en gaven meteen Bax de schuld dat het nog niet verzonden zou zijn. Het "grappige" was dat het rack op diezelfde dag dat ze me dat vertelden bij mijn buren afgeleverd was (zonder dat iemand ervoor heeft moeten tekenen of wat dan ook). Al met al een week later geleverd dan verwacht.

Maar goed, nogmaals, niet de schuld van Bax, wel vervelend. Het rack is echter echt super. Daar ga ik er binnenkort zeker nog 1 van bestellen.

Het rack wordt overigens als bouwpakket geleverd en is zeer simpel en snel in elkaar te zetten.
