General
The Showtec IEC C13 to IEC C14 offers a handy five-metre-long extension for any standard IEC power cable (also known as a kettle lead). Since a lot of gear like laptop power supplies, DJ controllers, guitar amplifiers, lighting gear, and monitors can come with fairly stingy and short power cables included, simply add this purpose-made extension cable and make sure you can reach the nearest power point with minimum fuss. Equipped with three 1mm2 wires coated in a black, flexible sheathe, this durable cable is a stage and studio tool-kit essential, and if five metres is too little or too much, Showtec also offer them in different lengths.
