General

Diode bridge compressors are a bit of a forgotten category but not at Golden Age Audio! The COMP-554 MK2 is based on the famous 2254 compressor. If you can't choose between the friendly sound of an opto compressor and the aggressive sound of a FET compressor, the Comp-54 is the golden mean. Attack, release and ratio can all be set independently. Vocals, bass, guitar, keys, drums. Instruments with completely different dynamics. But with the Comp-554, you can always create a setting that gets the best out of your instrument. If it all sounds a bit too vintage for you, you can use the Air EQ. This gives you a nice boost in the very highest regions for a more modern sound.
