The Ladder is a Dynamic Transistor Ladder Filter based on the original ladder filter designs by Bob Moog. The module can easily be mounted in your API lunchbox rack. Don't be fooled by its moderate size, though, for The Ladder is a powerful filter that gives any instrument its own unique sound and characteristics.
The Ladder: the filter
The Ladder can serve as a low-pass (LP) or high-pass (HP) filter - simply use the cut-off to set the desired frequency. Hit the resonance knob if you're looking for a little dirty edge. An envelope filter with overdrive is also at your disposal, which can be accurately controlled with the drive, attack, release and amount knobs and adds some delectable overdrive to your sound.
