General

The Rodec M-110 SideStepper is a powerful 500 series module that lets you shape the character of any mix with precision and creativity. The fully analogue signal path guarantees warm VCA sounds and ample headroom, ideal for 'pumping' synths or subtly reducing noise. Unique is the integrated digital step sequencer that lets you programme patterns up to 16 steps, perfect for complex polyrhythms or dynamic textures. Each pattern gains extra expression thanks to variable step-length, shuffle and a built-in randomiser. Synchronisation runs flawlessly via MIDI or Audio PPQN. In addition, a filter in the external sidechain input lets you selectively trigger on drum or percussion sounds. The one-shot mode and a handy mix button round off the total package for maximum flexibility in studio and live.
