As with the 4-inch Studiofoam Wedges, the 4-inch Studiofoam Pyramids are recommended for large rooms. They are also suitable for rooms with pronounced low-frequency problems or where sonic accuracy is a requirement and stronger acoustic absorption is needed.

By having four sides exposed on each pyramid, these panels offer more sound wave diffusion, which is desirable in some rooms. The 4-inch Studiofoam Pyramids will therefore provide a less "dry" sound than 4-inch Studiofoam Wedges.
