DAP's ASM-03 is black studio foam that will turn any room into a professional studio that can be used for neutral recordings! The foam is fire-retardant and easy to fasten to the wall or ceiling. Its gauge of 10 cm makes the sound absorption level very high, whereby the design with 5cm base and 5cm pyramids ensures an optimal effect. Partially thanks to the pyramids, a lot of sound is absorbed and not reflected, so that you can exclude echoes, resulting in a neutral recording studio.

In 2016 2 stuks aangeschaft om wat mee te testen. So far naar tevredenheid wat dikte en dichtheid van het schuim betreft. Was de bedoeling om nog met wat platen uit te breiden en ze in wandpanelen te verwerken.
Helaas kon ik ze in 2016 hier nog voor 26,- per stuk aanschaffen t.o.v. de huidige prijs 40,- . Misschien is dit dan inclusief lapdance? Al met al.. Ik sla deze even over...

De 10cm diepte maakt echt een gigantisch verschil itt de meestal verkochte 5cm absorbers. 10cm werd mij ook aangeraden in de boek Mixing Secrets for the Small Studio. Het schuim voelt heel kwalitatief aan, en is toch eigenlijk wel relatief zwaar! Mijn mixen klinken letterlijk voor 70% beter dan ervoor. Om je early reflectie punten te coveren is dit tot nu toe mijn beste aankoop geweest!
