The key side, also called treble side, has 26 keys. This is just over two octaves and more than enough for all your favourite songs. The name "Silent Key" refers to the sound-absorbing felt under the keys, so you have a lot less clattering. The standard bass system consists of 48 basses: two rows of fundamental basses and three rows of chordal basses (major, minor and seventh).

The Hohner Bravo II 48 features two registers, making it a two-chord accordion. The upper register produces a tight tone reminiscent of a clarinet.
