The Roland FR-3XB BK is a digital button-type accordion, equipped with a large number of high-grade sounds and a beautiful black finish. The accordion is fitted with 96 treble and 120 bass buttons and is part of Roland's revolutionary V-Accordion series, which is renowned for its natural sound and accurate response. The FR-3XB BK is no exception! This 120-bass instrument offers a diverse range of accordion sounds of famous models from all corners of the worlds. Well-known orchestra sounds, organs, drums and percussion instruments are also provided.

Technology of the FR3-XB BK

The Roland V-Accordion has a very natural, accurate response that will make you feel like you are playing a traditional accordion. It has a highly realistic sound and is equipped with a high-grade pressure sensor, which accurately registers the opening and closing of the bellows. The resistance of the bellows can be adjusted to suit your preferences.

The sounds of the accordion

The Roland FR-3X offers a wide range of famous accordion sounds, suitable for any music style. The accordion enables you to switch between Italian models with a more jazzy sound, clean models for German folk music, French musette, bandoneon and many more, without having to adjust your technique. The ultra-realistic sounds of the FR-3XB cannot be distinguished from those of an analogue accordion, due to physical modelling technology. This sound reproduction technology takes many factors into account, including reed behaviour, the closing of the pallets and every click.
