Michael Kelly MK-FF-5 Firefly 5 electro-acoustic bass guitar: spruce top
The body of the Firefly 5-string electro-acoustic bass guitar is made of maple and spruce. The guitar maker used maple for the sides and the back, and spruce for the top. These two wood types are commonly used to make acoustic string instruments, and produce a full, warm tone with plenty of mids and sweet trebles. The neck of this 5-string bass is made of mahogany and supports a rosewood fretboard with 22 frets. The fretboard has a beautiful abalone firefly inlay at the third position as well as smaller mother-of-pearl position markers. Additionally there's a beautiful wood-inlay sound hole rosette. The bridge is a Michael Kelly Acoustic Bridge made of rosewood.
Preamplifier
Of course, this beautiful bass is more than a stunning acoustic instrument; you can also excellently amplify the MK-FF-5 via its Shadow LC3 preamplifier and Acoustic Undersaddle pickup. Plug the bass guitar into an amplifier or mixer and allow yourself to be surprised by its amplified sound. Perfect for live performances or studio recordings.
This is a high-quality 5-string electro-acoustic bass guitar at a very attractive price!
