If you're a singer/songwriter or belong to duo consisting of a guitarist and vocalist, this is the perfect practice amp for you. It's also ideal for smaller, more intimate venues. The T30 has separate microphone and guitar connectors with separate tone control knobs, and the amp allows you to add a reverb to the master. It's also possible to play your own music by means of the 3.5mm mini jack connector.
Create the optimal acoustics:
The T30 has a small, practical foot that can be unfolded so that you can always position the amp at the best possible angle, which really comes in handy at smaller venues where you stand close to the audience or when the amp is placed on the ground. If the room sounds too dry or your audience is attenuating the acoustics of the room, you can use the reverb button to add more. You can also turn on the chorus effect to make your guitar playing sound fuller.

Ik plug mijn gitaar in en mijn dochtertje plugt de microfoon in en samen improviseren we raak! Het fijne is dat de reverb ervoor zorgt dat het niet gortdroog klinkt maar levendig. Ook zet ik vaak de chorus aan (alleen voor de gitaar). De geluiden zijn heel goed te mixen en het geheel klinkt uitstekend!
Bovendien kan je je iPhone aansluiten en is het versterkertje superklein, maar toch krachtig!

Het geluid blijft mooi helder en onvervormd, ook bij hogere volumes. Deze versterker heeft nauwelijks last van rondzingen van het geluid. Dat krijg je alleen als je het klankgat van de gitaar tegen de versterker aan houd.
Prettig is de aparte instellingen voor gitaar en microfoon (volume, bass, treble).
Voor de gitaar zit er een vette chorus op (die kun je instellen en aan of uit zetten).
Verder is hij eenvoudig te bedienen met weinig knoppen en nog goed te dragen.

Het kopen van deze Ibanez Troubadour was dus een heel goede keuze. Het geluid blijft goed, het wordt niet blikkerig of iets dergelijks, maar even goed als hoe het onversterkt klinkt.
Ook is het een fijn formaat, niet te groot, en makkelijker mee te dragen.
Verder is het regelen met de knoppen ook niet te ingewikkeld, dus dat is ook een pluspunt.
Kortom, een prima versterker voor een akoestische gitaar, en handig meeneembaar. De perfecte versterker voor een singer-songwriter @ home.
