D'Addario's EJ44 Pro-Arte strings are specifically designed for your classical/Spanish acoustic guitar. The set consists of three nylon strings and three silvered copper-wound nylon strings. The strings have an extra-hard string tension for a warm sound and lots of volume.

Goede snaren met een harde klank. Als je op zoek bent naar een krachtig geluid dan is dit een aanrader. Speel je met normal tension, dan is dit wennen, omdat je eerst niet hard genoeg speelt en t dof klinkt. Als je dit echter gewend bent of er aan gewend raakt kan je erg snel picados en arpeggios spelen.

Had er (veel) meer van verwacht. Het is volgens mij voor het eerst dat ik mijn oude snaren beter vond klinken. Ik houd erg van de heldere klank van de hard tension snaren maar die ontbreekt. Het is met name de g-snaar die me heeft doen besluiten om de snaren er weer af te halen. Ook als je de wat mattere klank wel mooi vindt, zou ik dit setje niet adviseren. De g-snaar valt geheel uit de (klank) toon. Deze snaar komt niet verder dan een dof plukje.
